FRS-15 grip design for AR15 bypasses California laws

Where there’s will there’s a way and a new manufacturer has released an AR15 stock that bypasses Californian law!

The FRS-15 Rifle stock design, due to it not using a pistol grip and solid, non collapsible and non adjustable design allows for legal use of pre-ban, full capacity magazines, with a standard mag-release mechanism.

The stock is priced at $190.00

I’m just curious. With the way federal law is written, can you put this on an AR pistol and it’s still considered a part of the pistol grip thereby bypassing the FFL requirements for a SBR or would you still have to buy the stamp?

    Sorry, that’s NFA laws?

    Hope that helps!

I have to say that this stock does not “by-pass” any laws. It conforms and complies to the letter of the law. Huge difference. This is to make what would be considered illegal, into something conforming to the statues. By making the semi auto featureless. It no longer is classified as an assault weapon. Just remember to make sure it does not have any other features that would make it an assault rifle. See the chart at this link. http://www.calguns.net/caawid/flowchart.pdf

    (4) A semiautomatic pistol that has the capacity to accept a detachable magazine and any one of the following:

    (A) A threaded barrel, capable of accepting a flash suppressor, forward handgrip, or silencer.

BETTER NOT USE A FR STOCK WITH A THREADED BARRELL END,,, JUST SAY’N!
